Good DJs?
 

Can anyone name some good DJs?
I've been going to rock concerts for a while now and I love it. I had my first experience with electronic music seeing Carl Cox at Avalon (in nyc) last weekend, and that was a blast. I'm wondering if anyone has some good recommendations for DJs to check out? My experience is limited but I enjoy IDM (aphex twin, boards of canada), Danny Howells, ATB, some stuff off the Ninja tunes label... but I'll check out any good recommendations if you mention some specific songs. Thanks all.

Not sure if Paul Oakenfold can be classified as a DJ or not, but I'd definitely recommend him.

Also a guy that goes by "BT." Definitely check some of his stuff out.

Dude, he NEEDS to stop "mixing" records. I used to love what he played, but the last 3 times I saw him, I wanted to cry..... He is horrible.

I just saw him last week, at Ultra, while waiting for Chemical brothers (they sucked too) and he played 3 records that were the complete opposite of the vibe, literally driving people away in droves (was like 11-14000 ppl when he started, only 8-9000 stayed) on top of that, he didnt even bother to mix the tunes!!! He just let them play out, then started the next.


He is a tool....

Well that's a pretty general question. What type of music are you looking for specifically? House, DnB, Jungle, Trance, HArdcore, etc.
