What's your band's name?
 

If you used to be in a band, in one currently or what would the name be if you were in one? I have been in several, the first was 11 inch kitty. I know, lame. I always thought Subway Death Probe was a cool name. Or not.

I was in a band in high school called "Skamakazie" but we had to change it because there was already a band with a record deal with that name. So we changed to "Kids Like These" and our logo was the handicap symble and we had a guy that would dance on stage that looked like that kid from "Life Goes On."

We were really evil.

If I had a band, I would name it the Croatian Sensation.
For what reason, who knows.

I just went by my real name: Justin Williams. Unfortunately/Luckily my musical aspirations have died down with age.

i had a band called "FYG". but it broke up. currently trying to restart something, but finding a good drummer in the bay area is dang near impossible.

I was never in a band, but my favorite band name has always been "Suck". Too bad my college roomate's friend was in a band by that name (later to be renamed "CL and the Rock Champions")

I was in a band called Dichotomatic for a while. We broke up though.

My friends band used to practice in my basement, they were originally called Zephyr, then they changed thier name to The 2030's. My friend was asked about the name on a morning talk show appearance, he said it was because all the kids like bands called The -Somethings- and they wanted to cash in.

In high school I was in a short-lived band called The Photogenic Schitzophrenics

Right now, I play in a band by the name of Braille Illustrated.

I was in Acapocalypse for a couple years; it was 7 guys singing a cappella, but as noisy as we could make it. During the 6 months we took to find a name, David Koresh's place in Waco caught fire, and that was our inspiration.

Back in high school I was with 2 hip-hop groups called The Ronin Cipher and Infinite Tongues. The second got ripped off by a thrid rate spoken word group.

I'm in 'Waves End' 'Sadako' and i want to start a band called 'Soldering iron dismemberment' for the sheer hilarity.

I never actually bothered to do a search on the name until now, though, and it turns out there's a California band with the same name.... damnit.

This guy is insisting on starting a band with me. So far we have practiced about 3 times, and can't play a single song. And he like different music than me and has some lame ideas for names.

But then I realize that I don't care about the band, and I just want to play.

Our band has been through about 7 informal name changes since we played our last show (summer 2002). We need to get back together BADLY.

Right now, however, our name is (and we're pretty well settled on this) ( (pronounced "open-parentheses"). We play hardcore... but we're not very good at it. As I said, we need despserately to get back together.

My Band is called the Platinum Punks. We're hip hop mixed with punk rock, odd mix aye.

My side project band is called "What A Stupid Name." hey, we weren't lieing. This is Straight punk rock. We sound a little like NoFX/Old AFI. We got a Hardcore/ska/Melodic punk thing going on.

My wife & I along with someone else are in a make up band called "Kiddie Porn Stars". My wife even made me a t-shirt with the band design w/ a bunny rabbit. I had also added the band's name to a couple of band registry sites.

I was a back-up vocals and danced around with a couple of chicks in a band called Flowflesh and the Fondelles or Earl depending on our mood. I was also briefly in the Undulatory Theory.

I have a band that plays at Monster Truck Rallies. We're called Limozeen.

ahhh - the GLG twenties, I miss those days. This thread really brought back memories.

Strangely, all of the bands I've been in have had names that started with "F", save one (which I didn't come up with the name).
