Whats your favourie OST? (Film Score)

What's your favourite Original Sound Track? I'm not talking about the albums with music inspired by the film or band music from the film. I'm talking about the score by the composer. My favourite are The World Is Not Enough - David Arnold, Black Hawk Down - Hanz Zimmer, Fight Club - Dust Brothers and Batman - Danny Elfman.

Anyone else want to share there favourites?

One of my all time favorite soundtracks is Galdiator - Hans Zimmer
But I also love Howard Shore's music for Lord of the Rings

Agreed.
"Am I Not Merciful?" tops it all off. A little conventional, but still great!

Most of Hans Zimmer's stuff is really good.

Gladiator, The Rock, and Crimson Tide are standouts, IMO

LOTR's score by Howard Shore, Moulin Rouge! and South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. LOTR is good rainy day music. Moulin Rouge! is great vampy music, and South Park is surprisingly good for parties.

Cruel Intentions - NO NOT the Cruel Intentions Soundtrack, I'm talkign abotu the stuff you can't find anywhere, the background music that happens throughout the entire movie, watch it sometime if you don't remember. I tried to find the cd or mp3s of that a few years ago and came up empty.

I remember years ago, when i was much younger, i fell in love with the orchestral music from the movie 'Speed'. i was so excited to finally get the soundtrack and when i flipped it on, i was pissed because all that the soundtrack consisted of was a bunch of "oldies" i had never even heard of. I even had to watch the movie again and again to notice WHERE these songs were actually played in the movie.
i wanted the "DA DA DA DA-NA NA" music!!!!!!!

Tough one. I'm going to have to say Henry V (the one w/ Kenneth Branaugh). Other great ones are Encino Morricone's from The Mission and Glory.

LOTR kicked ass, everything about Fight Club rocks my socks off, and Danny Elfman NEVER lets me down! Plus I have to add the original songs that were written for the Mortal Kombat movie. Techno rock fighting madness!! >_<

I forget the composer's name, but the original music for 'The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly' is my all time favorite. Not only did it win an Oscar, but who could forget 'Waa a waaa... wa wa waaaaa"?

Vangelis' Blade Runner Soundtrack. By just trying to imagine that movie with another soundtrack, you'd know it wouldn't work since the music is so important for strange feeling the movie gives you.

Other good soundtracks worth to mention are The Brotherhood of the Wolf, Matrix, The Gladiator and Fight Club.
