Thursday - War All the Time
anyone listen to this cd? awesome, awesome songs
|
yep, got it, love it
|
Best fucking CD I've heard in a very VERY long time. It is excellent both musically and lyrically. An even better effort than their first (which was great, too).
|
what are the best 3 songs?
|
I haven't actually heard it yet, but my friend has been hyping them up for me. THey're coming to the big day out in 2004 so i'll check them out then. I'll borrow the cd off of him sometime this week.

i dont think it was bette rhtna full ocllapse but it was fuckign great and that opening track omg the vocals kill me they make me want to hang myself, thats how great they are... and the lyrics to that song are the most depressing thing ever... i love it

Bright Eyes - Lifted or Desaparecidos - Read Music/Speak Spanish Listen to tat then talk to me |
I don't like it as much as Full Collapse, but it's still a very good album. Once I hear their songs live, my opinion might change though. I'm seeing them tomorrow night, and I'll probably come home with a higher opinion of the album once I experience it.

yeah, if you liked this CD, make sure you go see them live if you can. They take it to a whole new level. My favorite 3 songs are:
for the workforce drowning, division street, and war all the time |
War All the Time definitely lived up to the expectations of Thursday after Full Collapse turned out so awesome. I think they put more heart into Full Collapse, but WAtT isn't far behind, and I think the songs are a bit catchier.
DEFINITELY go see them live. Unlike some of the other bands out there, their live stuff sounds just as good if not BETTER than their CD stuff (Standing on the Edge of Summer comes to mind.) |
standing on the edge of summer is soooooo fucking great
|
*thumbs way up*
|
Excellent CD from and excellent band. My favorite song is For the Workforce, Drowning. The guitar riff for the intro of signals over the air is also amazing.
