what do you play?

i play drums,bass and guitar.(and with myself,but that's another thread) :D

Used to be a damn good low brass player and an average french horn player..

Not many gigs where I live (jazz or legit) though so i'm stuck just messing around in my spare time.

For me it's just a nice way to relax.

i play classical piano, and i'm trying to learn jazz.

I am a guitar virtuoso... well not necessarily a virtuoso, but I'm pretty damn good.

I also play a mean bass (stand-up AND electric)

I play guitar, bass, and keyboard. The drums also if you consider a drum machine an instrument.

DRUMS! but i fuck with the keyboard, (that means i cant play that) and i play with the bass, and my guitar isnt tuned right, and i dont know how to do that!

I play(ed) the trombone and trumpet.

i rock out on the most expressive instrument to date, the electric guitar. no other instrument comes close...well i guess some stringed instruments do.

I play the guitar(acoustic mainly), been self-taught for about a year now, and i'm advancing pretty quickly, but i think that can be attributed to my piano lessons i had for 3 years when i was about 8 years old.

I've been playing bass for 8 months, and wanting to take violin lessons

Pian, synthesizer, drums, sequencer, turntables, Flamenco guitar

I play guitar and piano. Nothing really serious, I just sort of mess around with them. I've played bass before to, but I don't actually own one, so that doesn't really count.

i can play the bass obviously but i prefer to leave that to bass players as they are the best at it ..right?
Can noodle a bit on hte piano and i love playing the harmonica in a blues setting.
Can't play drums to save my life but they aren't really an instrument right!!!;)

How do you make a drummer slow down the tempo?
Put sheet music in front of him!!
How do you make him stop completely?
Put notes on the sheet music!!

I also find it amusing how many guitarists say they also play the bass. They should say, "I play the bass as if it were a guitar."

I play trumpet and penny whistle (I make penny whistles too - show me yours and I'll show you mine.) Just taking up the bagpipes after a 20 year lay off. Wow it's so easy, don't know why I struggled before. Play a Quena, Keyless flute, rainstick, Didgeree Doo and anything else I can make.
