If I were in the market for a guitar, this is what I would be buying. They're pricey, but I have worked w/ the luthier and can honestly say that nothing leaves his shop till it's perfect. It's a Benavente Guitar (google it for his website if ya want.)

I have an acoustic Ibanez Performance 18-S. I can't find out anything about it online. I bought it in '96 and all I know is that I love its tone. I play a lot of fierce rhythm and it does pretty well...I break a lot of strings though.

I have one classical. I won't say the name, as I refuse to give the company any furthur business. And I have one steel string, a typical Gibson J-200.
I've gone through about a million. From cheapies to nice ones. In the end, I know (from experience) it doesn't matter what it is. I just started picking up the Cello, gotta keep on trying new things! Jdoe |
