i doubt it will have any effect on the public. i watched it 5 or 6 times lastnight while flipping through channels. it was on i think once before 10 and al the rest was latenight.
It was done alright but id like to hear an uncensored version to catch more bush bashing. i have to say, it did shock me seeing it at first though because i didnt expect such a thing coming from the guy . i give it a B for entertainment but a little unoriginal and im oh so tired of political bashing that has been going on for months and i even stopped watching tv/internet for 3months |

I think it's pretty fuckin dope. Much doper than the garbage he threw out on his last 2 albums. I didn't get to catch the whole video though. Knowing all these fuckin Eminem psycho fans if Bush wins one of them will try something stupid and prolly get shot down.

yeah, where was he two years ago? kind of late getting on board. i guess he had some bad d12 songs to write.
by the way, remember when entertainers first started publicly criticizing bush...and then you'd hear from people who had disappeared for years (like natalie imbruglia or the lead singer of some forgetten band)? "i honestly have no other motives for speaking out, just being a concerned citizen, nevermind that i haven't worked lately." |

Seems like everyones making a political song now. Whether it's blatantly about Bush or hinting that it could possibly be about Bush or anything else we Americans do. All To Blame, American Idiot, Mosh, etc.

i previewed another track from his album.
he likes to sing a little too often now, bad move. "one last time" with dre is a "follow my instructions" song...i think it's the club banger when dr dre says crunk/you'll get it crunk get it crunk/crunk crunk/crunk right before this he was rapping about not being a fad, but the whole crunk thing is a) a fad b) not regionally associated with eminem or dre and c) not descriptive of the song "one last time" |

Honestly, I don't see it as very sincere. It seems to be pandering for attention, which is what I think he is pretty much reduced to doing now. Really unfortunate, as I've always thought he was very talented. But his last album was garbage IMO, and I have no interest in his new one.

It was okay, but a little muddled. To me, it seemed that the message was Eminem trying to start a violent insurrection (I love that word) with black hoodied people. Oh wait. No, they're just voting.
Its real potential was causing young voters to get angry and actually vote. Of course, it kinda advocated the whole "Vote NOW" sentiment without learning the issues. All in all, one of the two or three rap songs I'd actually listen to. |
