What's everyone think about Velvet Revolver? They played a 6 song set the other night:

01. Bodies (SEX PISTOLS)
02. Set Me Free
03. Sex Type Thing (STONE TEMPLE PILOTS)
04. It's So Easy (GUNS N' ROSES)
05. Slither
06. Negative Creep (NIRVANA)

I think 'Set Me Free' comes close to early Guns n Roses material (and I dont throw that out there lightly). Can't wait to hear more from them.

I have to agree... they have a HUGE potential to be a major band in the near future... now if we can keep Scotty away from the drugs............

I have only heard the new radio single, but I am loving it.

I agree

The radio single is strong and it's a solid hit. The music sounds like it's supposed to (STP meets GnR), and that's a good combination.

This band has the most promise of any band in years. I'm really looking forward to hearing their full-length release when RCA brings it out!

I love the song "Set Me Free". They also did a short cover of Pink Floyd's "Money". I think they'll kick ass
