So, I really hate to ask this only because of the response I'm sure to get from you people but...


Anyone else excited to hear the new Limp Bizkit album?


Now, the only reason I'm waiting for it is because I wanna hear what they sound like without Wes.

Simply put. NO!

I could care less what it sounds like. Fred Durst is a dick and Limp Bizkit is among my most hated bands at the moment. I only hate Creed and Linkin Park more.

I've heard their new single, I wasn't impressed. I don't care much for Fred's voice..

I liked some of their early stuff, and Wes always made me watch and listen. Now that he's gone, Fred now seems to like getting his attention claiming he's slept with famous people and such. Oh well.
To tell you the truth, I didn't know they were coming out with another album.

I'm curious. I have all of their albums and want to see what is next. Will they sound any different? Or will it be the same stuff? "Chocolate Starfish...." was fairly derivative of "Significant Other", so I'm hoping the new one has a few new twists.

Unlike most people on this board, I can separate my dislike for a lead singer from the music itself.

Not to be negative or anything, but Limp Bizkit is the worst band I have ever heard.

I can separate them, but it is still a strong dislike in both cases.

Meh.. I can't imagine it will be anything new or terribly good. They have been on a steady downward slide, and Wes leaving is just about the final nail in the coffin.

I'm not excited but i'll give it a listen. If Fred Durst would just stop the rapping, I don't think people would give him so much shit.

the new guitarist is quite good...he might not jump around and do all that shit but he can play his guitar

I am interested in hearing Limp's new stuff simply because they get so much hype all the time.

The last limp bizkit songs I enjoyed were Break Stuff and Turn me Looose (ft Eminem).... Other than that I realy dont like anything they have done in recent memory..

I'm not really interested in their new album...I heard some of their new stuff and it sucks....just more angry white boy rap. No Wes is a bad bad bad bad thing...without them they will just merge more and more into the hip hop attitude.

I'm optimistic, but I'm not going to put much faith into Limp Bizkit yet. I miss their rock music, and have had enough of his rap.

I am so glad to have removed myself from the loop of modern shit music. Last I heard, Bizshit was spewing out an album like a few months ago or something. Guess this shows how many shits I give about Limp Bizdick.

I'm sorry a bunch of dicks popped up and used this thread to go on about bashing Limp Bizkit when that wasn't your question. If you ask me, I think they're all trying to turn Bizkit-bashing into a trend. People try really hard to be alternative, you know. It's depressing.
I like LB, I have since 3DB. It sucks they lost Wes, but I bought the album anyway because I liked "Eat You Alive." The song with Snoop isn't bad, but the rest of it...I don't know. It's like they decided to focus on Fred's voice instead of the music. Which I thought would be ok, because I really liked "boiler" from Chocolate Starfish. But like I said, I'm undecided on the rest. Do you think this is their last? (Watch out for the onslaught of "YES BECAUSE THEY SUCK I HATE THEM FRED SUCKS WAAAH" posts after this...)

I think the next one with Mike Smith will be far better. Once they play together more and mesh more they should come up with some great music. The more I listen to Results May Vary the more I like it. There is some hidden stuff in a few songs that brng the whole thing together. I just don't like that fact that the whole thing is about Britney Spears.

I really liked their first album, the second wore thin to quickly and the third, well I never really gave it a chance. When I did hear stuff off of it I only liked what Wes was doing. Fred Durst is like Puff Daddy...he should be on one and only one side of the glass during recording. Great producer (Laquerhead: Primus) and well, you know the rest.

I think they sound even trendier than Staind does now.

Some numbers i like but 60 percent sucks. I like the old Limp Bizkit stuff better. But music is all about taste so don't worry if you like it;)

Seriously though, I have never really listened to Limp Bizkit so I can't really say I'm looking forward to the new album. I'm also not rueing the day it arrives.

I don't quite understand why people who don't like a certain genre or band in particular make such angry comments against them. I don't particularly like country but just because I don't prefer that type of music, I don't go flaming each band and saying how much they suck, especially if I have never heard the bands songs, or didn't particularly like a certain song.

I liked all three of the limp bizkit cd's that have come out so far, and I'm interested to see what the new one sounds like.

As much as I enjoyed Borland's theatrics and the sound he contributed to the band, I was curious to hear the new stuff.

So far I've only heard one or two of the new tracks, but they were good! I miss the distinctive guitar parts a little, but if you take the new stuff on its own, and not try to compare it to every hit they've ever had, it's good. I've been a fan for quite sometime, and probably will be for quite sometime to come.

I think I'll take my next paycheck to Virgin Megastore and buy the new album...or an old one...who knows, I never owned any of them, I just burnt them off of Napster back in the day (the original, not the new Napster).

Its kind of like taking slash out of gnr. Sure you still have axl, but you know how that story goes...

I find it interesting how Fred Durst has a tatoo of Kurt Cobain on his chest and calls him his hero and all that, and then proceeds to go party at the playboy mansion and brag about how he had sex with Britney Spears.

I lost all respect for the band, I'll never buy or listen to their music ever again. Everyone meet the new Vanilla Ice...Fred Durst, yeah that's right, he's played out.

there new cd is OK, i defenatly like there older stuff better

The new album would be ok if they had a person who could really sing instead of just sounding like hes talking to music with a sore throat, but they dont, and it ruins the music (the music is good)
