HELP!!

I'm trying to make a mix CD for a girl, and I'm trying to find some nice stuff from 80's metal bands. I've got things like... Hold the Line, Ebony Eyes, Centerfold, Everybody Wants You, Up All Night, and stuff like that.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

Hmmm - Never thought of Toto (Hold the Line) as metal - but anyways - here are some suggestions

Ratt - Round and Round
Donnie Iris - Ah Leah
Killing Joke - Eighties (not so metal - but keeps w/ the theme)
Pat Benatar - Hit me with your best shot

Dang, I thought it was another Beatles thread.

Anyway, by "nice stuff," do you mean acoustic stuff from metal bands? In that case, try the following:

"Beth" by KISS (even though it's 70's)
"Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Poison
"More Than Words" by Extreme
"Patience" by GNR

I don't think of any of the songs you listed as being metal songs or by metal bands. But it seems like every 80's metal band had that one obligatory acoustic song.

Bullet Boys- "Smooth up" ( this song I hadn't heard in years until recently. I didn't even know who did it, but when I heard it again, I had to have it)
Living Color- "Cult of Personality"
Cinderella- all their tunes
Poison- "Unskinny Bop"
Motley Crue- "Girls, Girls,Girls"
Damn Yankees- "Here I come again"
Judas Priest- "You've got another thing comin'"
There's a ton more, but I've got to go.
Good Luck

Ok, sorry if they don't seem very metal-ish or anything, when I was on vacation, I forgot my CD collection and had to buy some new ones, so I just bought the VH1 CD, The Big 80's- Big Hair, and Absolutely The Best of Classic Rock. Sorry for the mix up.

Anyways, thanks for all the suggestions, I guess I'd better get busy "purchasing legitimately" those songs... Off of Kazaa, about now. Thanks again all.
