I kind of love Ingrid Michaelson....like a lot. And Redlemon...LOVE the Muppets! |

CinnamonGirl: Funny, I had a Twitter exchange with an old classmate of mine a few days ago about how creepy and date rapey that song is :p That recording isn't as bad as some other performances I've heard though. |
Is this meant to be only for the 'Yuletide' season? Because I have no problem with that, seeing as my avatar is finally reflecting that, but I do think this is a good starter for other threads, such as "Seasonal Songs: Spring ; Seasonal Songs: Cool Windy Autumns ; Seasonal Songs: Torrential Monsoon Moody Blues Season"... you know, the staple seasons.

hahahaha... I had a similar conversation with a coworker the other day, secret.
Wintersong is amazing... here's Sarah McLachlan's version: Also, have some Joni Mitchell: |

The neighbors might think - Baby, it's bad out there Say, what's in this drink - No cabs to be had out there Exactly.... |
I uploaded this in the greatest year of this past decade (2007), and it is a complilation of songs I wanted to hear the most to appease my December spirit.

I'm aware that Australians (for example) are now experiencing summer. I don't know if we have any aussie TFPers but my plan was to be flexible enough for all to enjoy the thread and thus I didn't rigidly define it. If a moderator wishes to make separate threads for each season and each holiday then that's okay with me. I just felt the focus on the changing seasons would happen naturally. I see we're getting both winter and holiday postings and I like the mix but, I'm open to anything anyone prefers. The Skater's Waltz: |
I love this one... having done time over Christmas at a repertory cinema, it speaks to me directly.
This is awesome too... |

A winter's day, in a deep and dark December
I am alone. Gazing from my window to the streets below On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.... |
