Saw them in Soldier Field last night. First time for me. An amazing concert. I expected Bono to carry on about political causes but, no. They pretty much went from song to song with very little banter in between. Bono and the Edge get most of the spotlight but Mullin and Clayton really are amazing. They firmly anchored the songs, the beat they provided was undeniable. Mullin was like a machine. 23 songs in 2:20. The stage was way over the top, a circular stage surrounded by a larger circular walkway that extended out into the crowd. It was massive.

Played Your Blue Room from Passengers for the first time ever. A beautiful song although not one that the crowd responded to. No complaints, except for the $45 parking fees.

Not the fault of the band, however.
