At last, somebody my age. "Comfortably Numb". Greatest song in the world when totally stoned. (at least it was, gulp, 30 years ago).
I opened it and it made quite an impression. We went to the Vietnam memorial last year to pay our respects. I had a lottery number but thankfully the war ended before I was called. I'm not sure what was worse - Vietnam or what bush is doing in the middle east. Ultimately, it all boils down to money. ![]()

If we're counting lives lost, then the Vietnam War was far worst. Still, one of the things that outrages and saddens me is the lives lost in the Iraq War because of lessons not learned (or, if learned, then forgotten) from the Vietnam War.
