What time signature/chord is this?

What time signature is this little riff that I came up with in... also, what is the chord used.... It was just one of those random things I wrote and I'm not musically versed.

I play the chord once...then do the actual riff.... Thx in advance

well, the way its put together it sounds like it would be a measure of 6:8 followed by a measure of 2:8 repeated. Each time the riff is played there are 8 beats, i think it makes the most sense counting it like that. would work in 8:8 too, but makes more sense to me that way.

the chord is giving me trouble. sounds like its based on a D, but i can't tell if its a 7th minor 7th #5th what have you.....how do you play it, post the fingerings and i might be able to determine it...no promises

I tried coonting it and got 9 beats with 3 triplets... 3/9 :)

here's the fingering....

e-x----
B-0----
G-0----
D-10---
A-12----
E-10----

That is arpeggiated

For what your showing; D dominant 11th add 6th.

Aside from your opening chord, your rhythmic structure is in 4/4 time

Instead of trying to find the time signature you might want to use a metronome. The chord sounds good though
