What's Your Favorite Sat Radio Station?
Mine is XM Ethel. When it gets boring I move up to Squizz.
The Chill station on Sirius owns the XM Chill station. |
XM DeepTracks because I'm an old fucker :D
|
Sirius Lithium (90's Alternative). Funny thing is I didn't realize how much 90s Alternative music I liked until this station started broadcasting. I really hit my stride in the early 80s, so I've always been partial to music from that era (punk and new wave). When Lithium started broadcasting, I discovered that I also like lots of stuff from the 90s.
Another one I like is called First Wave. It plays late 70s, early 80s punk and new wave. |
Sirius Super Shuffle (a little of everything) and Jam On (jam bands). I love First Wave, too. And their crazy 80's station. Sirius keeps me entertained. Which is hard. I have ADD and can't listen to a song I don't like. So I zip between those four because sometimes Jam On plays too much Widespread Panic.

CBC Radio 3

To me satellite radio is like having an iPod that plays records. Not my cup of tea.

Well then you shall post in the "Ipod that plays records" thread! Or the "Whats your cup of tea thread" :D I keed, I keed! |
I like XMU. I have heard a lot of bands blow up from that station. The only thing about them is that they only play new music. They have kinda an indie flavor to them. I happen to like indie rock, so you could hear a really great band one week, and the next week they are gone. I would say the worst station would be XMRAW.....i think it's called. It is the unedited gangter rap station. I just can't stand the d.j.s they put on there. The just get me RAW.

Love the Boneyard (80's Hard Rock) on XM 41 and Bigtracks (70's and 80's classic rock) on Ch. 49.
|
have XM.
listen to mostly Fred (channel 44, 80's alternative) and Ethyl (channel 47, classic rock in 20 years) i do have a light jazz, a disco and a couple of the Decades channels on the presets. |
lately been listening to a lot of XM LED All Led All the time
|
that still going? thought it was a limited time channel
|
Alt Nation and Hair Nation for me. Left of Center is hit or miss with the indie stuff.
|
XCountry
|
I don't listen to just one.
I listen to XM Fred, Ethel, and XMU. I also listen to old-time radio. Those shows are awesome. |
On XM: Boneyard, Squizz, and Liquid Metal
|
Sirius 34 Boombox and 124 NFL of course
|
Sirius alt nation, hard attack, and hardcore. Any Sirius rock station is entertaining. Sirius left of center is one to keep an eye on. They play some bands before they blow up. You can catch stuff six months before it hits mainstream radio. Anyone know what's gonna happen to the channels after the merger?
|
I'm an old dude that listens to Alt Nation. When I got Sirius, I listened to Hair Nation, Buzzsaw and Classic Rewind with a little Raw Dog thrown in. One day I think I heard a song on Super Shuffle and went over to Alt Nation to hear more like it and was hooked.
|
I love XM, I'll listen to almost anything now and then...I'm older, but still rock out. My favs are Squizz, Ethel, 165 for "coast to coast", old-time radio, Boneyard and Bigtracks.
|
I listen to XM i like the Boneyard, Deep Tracks, the Decade Stations (80's and 90's mostly) and I like XM Rythm which is old school hiphop.
