LONDON, England (CNN) -- Rock legends Led Zeppelin are to reform for the first time in 19 years for a one-off concert in London, the band is expected to announce.

Robert Plant playing in London, 2006, with his band the Strange Sensation.

Singer Robert Plant, 59, last week hinted that the band were reforming when a fan asked him about the possibility of a performance.

He replied: "How did you know about that?", the Press Associated reported.

The three surviving original band members - Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones are said to be planning a concert at the O2 Arena in November, organized by promoter Harvey Goldsmith.

It would coincide with a new "Best Of Led Zeppelin" CD due to be released that month.

It is believed a tour could follow if the concert is successful.

Heard about this earlier today.. I was pretty stoked.

I'm really interested to see if they can mesh out a stellar performance or if it's just going to be one of those "Ok we're playing together again..here's a song or two.. piss off" type deals.

Yeah, I heard about this in the music store yesterday. It should be worth seeing, I reckon; Jason doesn't quite have his dad's chops behind the kit, but then very few people do and he is quite capable in his own right.

I'd also like to see the setlist. I think it'd be awesome to see Jimmy busting out his EDS again for Stairway (although with the size of those things and at his age, he might end up throwing out his back or something).

Mind you, it doesn't really matter to me. Even if they do tour I doubt I'll be able to get tickets. And as much as I'd like to be able to, I don't think I'll be able to go to London to see them either.

with the exception of Bonzo not being there*RIP*.........(his kid is a helluva fill in)....the concert itself should definatley spur a wordwide tour......

I read where Jason said this time he would be sober and enoy it more than the last time. I forget the circumstances but evidently he was smashed. Apples don't fall far, obviously.
