Mr. Lif - Home of the Brave

basically anything from Mr. Lif is worth a listen, but thats a favorite of mine inparticularly. Another good one is Live From the Plantation. Check this guy out. He's out of boston with Defenative Jux (El-P, Insight, etc.) Intelligent rap about issuses that matter.

Lil Jon-Get Low. That is a fucking badass song, with a great beat and a good club feel. Good song to get a lap dance to :) A lot of bass too, if you like that. David Banner's CD sucks, just download Get Down (Like a Pimp) with him and Lil Flip. Anything by Flip is good, he is the best rapper IMHO. My favorite rap song is Da Summa (Remix) by Three 6 Mafia.

Hey Eyronic---I own the CD Maxi-single for What's Up Fatlip? Good stuff, he was the funniest dude in The Pharcyde.

By the way, check out the song "Walk With M" by DA Smart. Unreal cut about Chicago Gangs from 8 or 9 years ago, you will love it...

Wow! That's quite an extensive list of artists, and I agree with everyone of the selections. I really can appreciate the "underground" hip hop music. These are the ones telling the real stories.

Latryx --"lady don't tek no" one of the best songs to get down to IMO.
