I wouldn't even know where to begin.

focalevo 06-02-2003 02:26 PM

Reminds me of my high school parking lot on the last day of school.

Ashton 06-02-2003 02:47 PM

If I'm not mistaken it's some sort of Roundabout......

those crazy euro's and their roads :p I would end up going around that little circle at least a dozen times

WarWagon 06-02-2003 06:28 PM

Aliens got confused as to where to put the crop circles?

hotzot 06-02-2003 10:42 PM

Like Ashton said it's a roundabout, and it might be in england

Atomic Pinkie 06-03-2003 12:29 AM

Shortage of stop lights?

Rippley 06-03-2003 05:28 AM

Can't be england, they're going around the center roundabout the right way... I'm mean the right way for the rest of us... But the little ones on the outside look like you have to go the "wrong" way 'round... My head hurts, I'm gonna go lie down for a while...

say what? 06-03-2003 12:03 PM

So, where is that? It looks like Northern Europe ...They probably still drive better than the old folks down here in Florida

France......

4thTimeLucky 06-03-2003 02:50 PM

I think its England. They seem to driving on the left, though its damned hard to tell in all that craziness.

In fact I think I've been on that roundabout.

thadon 06-04-2003 11:56 AM

damn foreigners ... pave a normal road

nash 06-05-2003 09:52 AM

One of my professors said in Europe (I think France, not sure) there was a huge roundabout with 5 or 6 lanes with no lane markings at all. The way you had to drive was to watch the car to the right of you and follow what he does, and be confident that the guy to the left of you is watching your car.

Snoogans 06-05-2003 12:20 PM

I've seen worse. 5 times as big, also in England.

duckduck 06-05-2003 09:18 PM

Roundabouts are actually a lot easier and nicer to transverse compared to lights.

It's just that they take a bit to get used to at first (at least for me).

madsenj37 06-08-2003 02:22 AM

I will stick to traffic lights thanks.

Scorps 06-08-2003 11:58 AM

Nows thats messed up.

splck 06-09-2003 06:35 AM

Fuck traffic lights and stop signs, they suck.. Roundabouts are the way to go. Anyone that thinks coming to a stop every time you arrive at an intersection is better than merging into a roundabout has obviously never used one...Ignorance is bliss.
That said, the one in the pic is fucked up.

joshibahn 06-09-2003 10:35 AM

Looks like Traffic around here

BentNotTwisted 06-10-2003 08:18 AM

The city I live in has started implementing roundabouts. I really like them. There are a log of 4 way stops here, roundabouts are much better. Lots of people dislike them because the are different. Fortunately, the roundabouts here have a raised central area with landscaping. The ones in the picture suck, anyone could drive right through the middle of them.
The drivers in the pic are driving on the both sides of the road. Right side roads have counterclockwise rounabouts, left side roads have clockwise. This picture has both! What a nightmare.

geeza 06-11-2003 02:57 AM

Roundabuts are actually great. They keep stuff moving. Ones like that pictured above are actually part of a clandestine plot to flush out all the people that shouldn't hold driving licenses: they screw up, get in a smash, and have to pay more to be on the road. In the absence of dinosaurs to eat such people, it's a reasonable alternative.

pattymac 06-11-2003 07:14 AM

thank god it is not here in the US people have a hard enough time with a normal circle around here.
