$10k to spend...

Hey guys. I have $10k to spend on a car. I have some req's tho. Must be RWD and Manual. 250rwhp+. I'm thinking 1995 300ZX TT. What about you guys?

I'd go with a 98 LS1 Camaro Z28. Amazing power in that car.

As a former owner of a Z32TT (300ZX TT) I would suggest against it. It is not a practicle car by any means at all. No matter how you look at it owning one makes no sence. For example its only a 2 seater so if you have more than one person with you it sucks. If that doesnt matter they are pigs on gas. If that doesnt matter then insurance for them is staggering. If that doesnt matter then parts for them are expensive as hell. If that doesnt matter then rust in the rear quarter panels are a huge problem especially because most of it is hidden untill its too late especially if you live in the north or Canada. If that doesnt matter then go for it.

For 10K I would suggest something a little more sensible and realistic like a Impreza 2.5RS (I know 4WD) or maybe something like a Nissan 240sx.

Good advice above. It's important to factor in not only how much you have to spend on the initial purchase but how much it will cost to maintain.

I would say the 240sx also, there is a guy in my area that bought one for about $1000 and put abotu $6000 into mods and he's pushing about 340+hp can do about 13.3 seconds in a quarter miles and since he has big enough fuel injectors and a standalone fuel management system he can run E85 which is cheap in my area. And with his Greddy boost controller it makes an excellent daily driver.

300ZX TT's are damn nice looking cars but there hundreds of more mods for 240SX's

I will not be modding heavily modding the car in any way.... Besides the standard I/E, maybe ECU and boost cont. down the line. Insurance isn't a prob, nor is the maintenance cost. I want something fun to drive and FAST. I WILL NOT drive a 4banger, no offense to anyone just not what im looking for.
