Repair shops
in Columbus OH anyone know of anything close or near me?
PepBoys sucks and the dealership costs waaaaay too much, although their service is SUPERIOR to any other shops I have dealt with. |
Is it something you could do yourself? Or are you not adventurous enough to try...
Mistakes will be made, but it's fun (and, at times, extremely aggravating.) |
not so much not wanting to try, just no time, or space to do it. I had to get the sway bars replaced front and back on 96 Taurus, and the front struts and strut mounts need replaced.

hi, just a thought. check with freinds, family,co workers, ask them who they use for auto repairs.another idea,is if you are in the city, prices tend to go down in the outskirts,or in a close, small town.also call around and get estimates to see who is the cheapest .i hope it helps some! good luck.

What usually works out for others is find someone that is a mechanic and will do it after hours for green money. That way you both will benefit :)

You could check out The Mechan-X-Files over on CarTalk (the NPR show).
|
Don't forget to check the Better business bureau website to discover if anyone has filed complaints with them recently. Also, see if they're certified mechancis [ASC?].

Redlemon beat me to it... the cartalk list is usually pretty good.
