My new joy
After years of owning Hondas and used cars, I finally found myself in a position to afford something I've always wanted.
At first, I thought I would have to buy used, until I found out that I was able to get a great interest rate and buy a new one. Behold, my joy - BMW 325Ci. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...e/IMG_0109.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...e/IMG_0107.jpg |
Nice ride! Personally I really like the 2 door beamers. Grats!!
|
Very Pretty.
My dad's got a nearly new M3, and it is fantastic. You're gonna have lots of fun. Just look out for speed traps! |
Now Daniel why would he have to do that in a 4-banger?

heh. Because an M3 would make my little 4 cylinder sob, even if it is a BMW.
|
nice ride

Anyway, that's an awesome car, and one that you'll have plenty of fun in in the future. Enjoy it, love it, and treat her well. And please figure out what engine the car has :D |
oops, did I say four cylinder? heh heh. I meant to say that uh, um....
Ah hell, I just got it cause it looks pretty. |
First you get the money... then you get the car..... then you get the WOMEEEEN!!!

I'm doing that the wrong way :D |
It's very nice. I love the color.
I had a 2002 525i and loved it. I just bought a new 2005 545i and absolutely love this one better. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y28...855_6_full.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y28...855_5_full.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y28...55_64_full.jpg |
That is a very nice ride, bendsley. I especially like those wheels. I'm hoping to replace mine eventually. I wasn't so sure I liked the redesigned 3, so I'm glad they hadn't come out with the '06 coupe when I got it. It looks like you have the I-drive. Is it as aggravating as I've heard?
|
It's really not too bad. It's come a LONG way from it's introduction in 2001.
My wheels are 19" SSR-GT3s with satin finish. This color is little darker than silver or chrome, which gives the car a more aggressive look. Tires are 19" Bridgestone Potenza S-03s, which perform much better than the stock 18" Dunlop run-flats. Also, the new wheels and tires weigh substantially less than the OEMs, which gives a decent boost in performance. |
That 325 is awesome looking, I unfortunately live around the corner from a BMW dealership. Many Sundays spent drooling and the wife saying "NO!"
|
Nice motor!
Could we just clear up the fact that the 325 is a straight 6-cylinder engine? Jesus? You listening? It's important! |

Love those 2 tone rims! |
Nice ride JJ. I'm currently in the market myself and have driven the 3-series. It is an awesome car, no doubt about it. Yours looks to be bluish-grayish in color -- Nice! Any interior pics you can share? Is it a manual or automatic?
Anyway, congrats on being able to purchase a car you truly love. Enjoy! |
Nice rides, the both of you. But Bendsley, an automatic...you make the baby jesus weep, I swear...but, ok, different strokes.
I drove the latest gen 325 recently...sooo sweet. I wanted to have it's babies, except for the adaptive steering. Just couldn't get used to it. |
Very nice 325, I like the blue color with the lighter interior. Just make sure to park your car closer to regular cars, park it too far away and they will do stuff to it (I know from experience).
I test drove the new generation of 3 series a few days ago and found them to be much more solid feeling than the previous generation. The manuals shifted very nicely and you could get a lot of pep out of the 325 and the 330. However, the inline 6s didn't do it for me. Raw torque for an engine is an amazing thing that once you have it is hard giving it up. I can't give up the v8 in my current car: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1...20/m5-rear.jpg |
