Bought me a new toy :)

A continuation from http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=87948

I finally got my insurance money.. Sold the wreckage..

And got me....

kind of a recap if you dont wanna read thru that thread.

I had a 92 honda civic, got tboned by someone who was passing illegally, got a 2k settlement and sold my heap to someone who wanted to spice up the car at thier own expense, so I dropped the 2k on a downpayment on this, and owe another 7k roughly

we're redoing the paperwork on thursday cuz... well they called me and said they are cutting my interest rate down to I'll save 720$ off the price (thumbs up)

So... yeah. I love the 2001 body style a lot more than the 03-06 models (the hood molding and the headlight framing just look better IMO) so I went with it.

insured for 81$ a month with full coverage, and payments of 188$.

Not bad for a 26 year old pizza boy eh?

yeah its an automatic but its a sweet transmission.
So for casual driving, it goes up to about 40 mph in a lazy 10 seconds or so.

If I floor it, 1st gear with the pedal down will take it up to 6000RPM's and 40mph before dropping into 2nd.

They didnt have a manual for sale (unless I wanted the 03 for 7k added to the price of the car) Its fine, I'm not really a racer/ricer whatever so its probably more than likely gonna stay stock.

Sweet ride! Auto is better. Less work and easy on hills.
