Does anyone know the actual release date of Pontiac's G6 coupe? It says Summer 05 on their website but no date. Thanks.

Pontiacs G6 hard top convertible's manufacturing start-date has been pushed back from September to January.

The date push-back is due to the Pontiac G6 never being intended as a convertible in the first place, Engineers and designers have to redesign exterior areas, such as the roof and trunk area; as well as interior to fit the retracting roof.

GM plans to keep its promise of releasing the vehicle for production in early 2006, while they keep on pushing for the release of their G6 coupe later this summer.

Yeah paintrain, i saw a G6 in my town the other day, what is the big deal about the car? they supplied it with all the extreme marketing i could handle

I think it looks ugly....but thats just me!
