First one sounds good...buying a pre leased car is one of the greatest things people do. That way you know it's in good shape, plus you don't take the hit of the value of it going down as soon as you leave the lot.

I have to agree with everyone else, the 1st maxima is the best choice. Of course, with out seeing and driving the cars you can't tell which is the best.

Are you just dead set on a Nissan product?
My two cousins and I all had Nissan Altimas of different years.
I had a 95 my cousins had a 97 and 98.
Everything was fine UNTIL the electrical gremlins started up. Towards the end I had to replace two alternators, the radio got fried some how,the electrical windows started to go out. My cousins then started to have some of the same problems. One of them started having major issues with her transmission as well.

My sister and her husband just bought an 04 Altima and it's already making little odd sounds.

So from my experience the Altima isn't the pick of the litter although my friend has an SE-R Sentra and he loves it.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that one. My uncle leases trucks for 3 years at a time, never buys them. In those 3 years he drives about 80,000 miles and never so much as changes the oil. He loads anvils in the bed (he's a blacksmith) then drives over back country roads at 60 or so... destroys the shocks after a few months of that. He abuses the fuck out of a truck, then he gets a new one.

Leasing a car means you have no reason to take care of it. If were ever dumb enough to lease a car (no offense to anyone who does... it's just way too expensive), I would NEVER maintain it. Simple as that. The car would be a piece of shit by the time I returned it. So I wouldn't buy a preleased car... but that's just me.

People who lease their cars don't change their oil or maintain the cars. The only things they worry about are keeping the interior nice and the paint scratch-free.

I wouldnt look at a Nissan unless it had ABS. I truely hate that company for not including as standard equipment. As for your selections, The very first Maxima would be a pick I'd take.

I've owned a couple of Nissans. A 1990 pickup and a 1997 Maxima. I've loved both. I sold the pickup with 185k miles w/o problems and my Maxima has 174k with nothing done except maintenance. It was a turned in lease. I got it with 38k on it. I just bought an 05 Quest for the family and I love it too. By the way, back in the day I was strictly a Chevy man. I learned my lesson.
