Oh deer
Damn. Ouch.
That didn't look enjoyable at all

Ow. Driver - 0, Deer - 0, Pavement - 2.
my whole body hurts now and it brings back bad memories of being thrown off a bike into the side of a mountain, thankfully it was INTO the mtn and not OFF the mtn
I hate to say it, but that's why you don't do 80 mph on little twisty backroads (I think I saw 130 on the speedometer, and I suspect that was kilometers per hour).
WTF that was a deer?
I was thinking the same thing PT after I watched it again. It looks rather small to be a deer.
Ya even to small to be a baby. I was thinking maybe a fox or another type of animal like that!
And thats why I only like driving motorcycles with a really really loud exhaust system.
Haha, yea... i rememeber when Harley 100th anniversary came here to milwaukee, a couple times each day i would hear a bike drive by that was so loud it set car alarms off. it was cool.
A risk of hauling ass in the woods. Maybe if they were doing a reasonable speed it would not have happened. I hope no one got hurt.
I almost hit a 300# black bear on a 3-wheeler once at 45 MPH. That would have hurt. |
Now that would fucking suck........
The dude with the camera was doing about 111 when the guy in front his the deer (think it was a baby), but I can't be sure if it was miles per hour or kilometers. Either way, that was pretty fucked up.

Hitting the black bear.................ya just a little :hmm: |
Good advertisement for helmets I reckon.
Yeah, basically hitting anything at speed is going to cause trouble. My friend's prelude SH did not like meeting up with a raccoon at 80mph. Can you say Broken front bumper and headlight? Plus all the gross parts
I hit a deer on my bike doing about 75 mph broken collar bone & wrist all skin removed from knee cap but still their only wild so what can you do!!!!!
ouch, worst thing i ever did on a bike was do a lil jump on an oldschool honda...the shocks bottomed out and it pitched me off
That had to hurt...can never be too careful! Just think how small that was, amagine a large deer.
I've hit a rabbit and that just about knock me off. That sucks! |
Yeah this goes through my head while I ride my R1 but hey you can't let the fear hold you back that is why the leather jacket and helmet are a must. I think the speed was in Kilometers and the bike was a Kawasaki ZX-9 maybe I thought it might be a ZRX 1100 but I think it was more of a Ninja type bike. In a word ouch had to hurt. I saw another video where the bike that hit the deer was the camera bike and it was on a straight and a much higher speed. When you watched it at regular speed the picture just blinks into static you had to slow it down to see the deer come halfway into frame before the bike hits it.
