Honda 599 vs. Yamaha FZ6 - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Anybody have an opinion? I've been saving up my pennies, and I'm looking to buy one or the other in the next couple of months.

How much are you looking to spend? You can probably get into a GSXR 600 for not much more. A Gixxer 600 will walk any other 600 you put next to it.

The Gixxer is, in fact, a mean unit. It has always been my experience that Honda pays so much attention to detail and refinement that their bikes are often the most comfortable and forgiving bikes out there. If you are looking for a learning bike, I would personally go Honda, it will be faster than you are capable of riding it for a while...
