Awesome....looks hella fun.

tkkfan 04-07-2004 03:13 PM

Wow that's awesome. Wonder how fast it goes?

pocon1 04-07-2004 04:46 PM

Its a shame that the left the swastika on for historical accuracy. A cool jet model is tainted by a symbol of hatred.

Nomad 04-07-2004 04:50 PM

That was cool :D

Check out this guy with a helicopter. :)

Both links are the same video

I'm sorry to say but I would of put the swastika on it. Just cause it would be a accurate reproduction, but I could see where some people would get pissed about it.

Destrox 04-07-2004 06:13 PM

That is one badass hobby right there. Shame the video quality was rather poor.

The Swastika was a symbol of good luck before the Nazi's took It.

The Nazi's also took the Roman Salute.

Both of those are crazy, the jet for the fact that its a mini JET.

And the helicopter, ....... that man scares me.

Ilow 04-07-2004 06:51 PM

that jet is insane, how do they make scale jet engines that perform like that?

Asuka{eve} 04-07-2004 07:58 PM

I wonder if you could do that helicopter thing with a fully sized copter? Man how do you get a minature sized jet engine anyway???

sixate 04-08-2004 03:40 AM

That was fucking awesome.
I wonder what that bitch costs.

MSD 04-08-2004 06:16 AM

That's pretty cool, although with Germany's modern anti-hate laws, I'm surprised that even a model plane is legally allowed to have a Swastika on it, seeing as collection of Nazi memorabilia is illegal ...

wrongfullyaccuzd 04-08-2004 03:57 PM

Both videos are awesome. I think I would leave the swastika on too, for historical accuracy. Any ideas on how much one of those costs??

cr25ovet 04-10-2004 07:50 AM

just one of the jet engines is about 3000$ so he has 2 thats about 6000$ depends what size of engines he is using. so i bet the whole thing not counting the hours he worked on is between 6000 and 10000 maybe even more. they also sell jet engines for the rc helicopter those engines run about 4200 dollar

strife 04-11-2004 03:44 PM

That helo was wicked. I kept on waiting for it to smash into a billion pieces, but in some way, I am glad it didn't. (Although destruction is kinda funny...when it's not yours.)

theguyondacouch 04-11-2004 04:16 PM

I was watching a show on the history channel where they showed some of those, and the owner said hey cost cost about $20,000 iirc

CrazySaturn 04-11-2004 06:23 PM

Man, when he set the helo upside down on the rotor assembly! That guy has some skill!
