Need heads......for car
 

Ok i'm fixing up a mustang 5.0.......and I'm wondering what to use for heads....I was think about using my stock E7TE heads and just have them ported and flowed........Otherwise I want to use a set of GT40 heads that came on the 1996-97.5 ford explorers....if anybody knows and salvage yards that has a set that needs rebuilding I will glady buy them....

I'll check around here. I'd probably go with the GT-40's; if you tune the engine right, you can pull an extra 50HP and almost 75 peak torque. Summitt racing has them new for a couple hundred.

Yeah I just bought a set of rebuilt stock ones off of ebay.....they will get my by for now. Cheapest I could find them in the junkyard was for $200 a piece...but then to have a machine shop goes through them makes the price even higher. Hopefully you guys can find me a set...thanks for looking MSD :)
