Now I said before I was getting a 03' Nissan Sentra now that is one but watching Spike TV's 52 best cars..I can afford either a Nissan 350Z roadster(just need to think about insurance with that deal), a 04/05 Mazda 3 Coupe or Mazda 6 4dr Sedan, 97 240SX(with a ton of engine mods) for just over 8K(CDN).
So as I rack my brain every second or every day I don't know which one I will buy....so many cars so little money!:( |

55, I think, PA.
1996 Mustang GT convertible and 1990 grandson of Secretariat. Former I saw at a dealership, used, a few years back and they wanted $17k. Declined, though I loved it and looked online. The same dealership was selling it online for $12k...typo, btw. I called them on it and they gave it, er sold it to me for the 12. Love the car!! The latter is my ride around the farm, and tho only one HP, gives me the same sorta thrill |
im 18 and live in new zealand
I have a 1986 Mitsubishi Mirage that has only doem 60 thousand kms (dunno what that is in miles) and I'm the second owner (first owner was my Nana that drove the car to the dairy every shopping day and church on sundays) i also have a Wolseley 4/44 which i am thinking about restoring as a cyclist rode into the back of it while my father was driving it (he was actually stationary at the time and the cyclist left a mighty dent) The car was parked in our garage the day it was crashed into and it hasnt moved since (it happened a few years after i was born) so im guessing it will need a new engine :< |

DDDDave,
nice ElCamino. I always like those even though they have limited utility, I'm not a truck guy anyway. On my way in to work every day, I pass thru Conshohocken PA ...sorry if that sounds like I'm ready to spit... and a dealer right under I-476 there has a white 1957 ElCamino on the lot for sale, looks original. Man, that car looks cool. I don't know if I already posted in this thread or not: 1995 Toyota Supra, Twin Turbo 6sp, black, slightly massaged to allow 20+psi boost, no stickers. It's very fun and reliable. My first car I bought for myself in 1972 right after I graduated from college and got my first job, it was a '67 Jag XKE Roadster. Man, I loved that car and am sorry I ever sold it. It was in perfect condition, 35k miles on it, and cost me $2000; today that car in that condition is worth around $40k. A couple minor Lucas electrical gremlins that I found I "corrected" the design instead of just repaired like original and never had another problem. |

And why where you not supposed to drive the car.....its a damn test drive thats what you do! |

So choskins how much did you pay them to sit on your car?
LOL just playing nice wheels:thumbsup: |
It is part of my Corvette shop's bi-weekly meet at the local Hooters. (I don't own the shop, but I am their legal counsel. Oh, and unofficial spokesman, kinda like Mr. Wendy. LOL!)
|
for some reason i love the body styling of the older vettes like yours choskins.. the new ones are nice still.. but theres something about the previous styling that i really like... great looking car tho.. if anything.. id have some white rims on that.. thats the only thing id change :)
|
R3d, those are the factory wheels. It is a 1996 Grand Sport. The blue/white paint, red fender slashes, and black rims were all factory. They made 1000 of them as a tribute to the original 1963 Grand Sports that made racing history. I took it to Callaway to have the body kit and motor work done. That is why it is 1 of 4.

I'm also proud to say I've done all the work myself in the comfort of my own garage. The car was only dyno'd twice. Both times not in it's top form...once when she was stock she managed a pull of 270rwhp and 305tq (not bad for a bone stock M6 LT1) and the photo above with just boltons + the car's first n2o kit (not the one pictured above). http://pod6.dyndns.org/images/topend.jpg lol the intake and more sitting on the garage floor durring the LT4 Hot Cam install ;) Btw, choskins I envy you ;) |
Very, very nice.
Don't keep us in suspense, what did it pull the last time. 121. Even with slicks, that's gotta mean 450+. |

i am 20 from southern california.
i currently drive a '94 ford ranger XLT 2wd. i blew out all four shocks a year ago out at the desert and i am saving a few more bucks to get my truck ready for next season (memorial day weekend). i am gonna have it torn down and have it fully caged and custom long travel suspension put on with most likely kings all the way around. if i have the money i will three link the back for added fun. this all depends on if i can get the money and if i can get the time to help my friend fab my truck at his shop. soon i will be getting my sisters '83 volvo 240 off her for a daily driver. i love both cars, they haul me and my board to the beach and that is all that matters. pardon the long post. does anyone else have an off-roading truck (desert, mud, rock, whatever)? |
Thats sounds like a bad ass truck Mobsta....but its doesn't matter how long the post is here, well I guess if you don't keep dragging on which you didn't. So enjoy your stay!
