Have you ever been through this???
Here is the situation: i own two cars, one honda accord lx 4 door, i4, well taken care of. The other car is a 93 civic hatchback, plain trim. Now, on the accord i still owe $12600, but the trade in value is of about $9235 from www.kbb.com. Now, i have always like the honda prelude, but based on the situation, is it worth it or not to trade in my accord(which has been in an accident, but minor with no current Carfax damage reported) or what do you think i should do?
I pay $360 every month, and it will be three years to go this coming november to pay it off. Please let me know what you think on what i should do. Thank you very much. ![]() ![]() I just edited this, because i forgot to mention what the price of the prelude is: the ones by my are range for about $13500 to $14900 with fair mileage for years. What do you think of this? i thought of a civic, but man, those suckers on really killers on insurance, although the prelude is lower on that subject. I thought of the impreza rs(not wrx) but the prices on those is kinda high still for an 02. Thanks again. Last edited by johnyto; 06-08-2003 at 08:39 AM.. |

honestly, i don't think i am getting rid of the accord, i thought i might(but who knows, i want a 5 speed or v6 one, i hate auto), in case necessary, but i called my insurance agent, and the prelude is going to cost me $13 more every month, so i don't think it'd be a great idea. As for the accord, i am thinking of modding it all a little bit, with used aftermarket parts. I just wanted something more sportier, but it ends up being more expensive...
![]() Oh well, i found this prelude for only $10500 for good miles and i ran the carfax on it, and it is a good buy if i can get it for like $9800 so i'd be even, but i am not sure... what do you think?? Thanks guys. |
