Anyone ever been to Sebring?
 

This girl at work is telling me that we (my wife and I) should go to the 12 hour race at Sebring next year. Says it's a great party and all around fun time.

I'm inclined to believe her and go. I went to the 24 hour race at Le Mans a couple times back in the 70's and that was fun. I was just wondering if anyone had been before and could tell what kind of facilities/lodging/etc are in that area. It's only a couple hour drive from here but I'm sure we'll want to stay at least 1 night if not 2. Would it be advantageous to take the motorcycle to be more mobile once there? TIA

Driving the course at Sebring is even more fun. BMW clubs rent the track for driver's schools and invite instructors (like me ) to educate students on how to drive their cars FAST. We get FREE track time for helping.

A motorcycle will get you around to good viewing spots and save a LOT of walking. This place is huge.
