The white firebird... If you look closely there is a AC Cobra kit car with a 427 under the hood, wan't fast in the turns but that car was AMAZING! I wish I could have gotten some pictures of it.

There was also a Yellow 99 M3 that went over...... 3 times! I have never seen such bad luck in my life. He went through a kink and lost the ass end. When he hit the sand trap his wheels dug in and flipped the car. I want to see if I can get a copy of his in car for you all

It was at MHSC, its a training course that the MN Law enforcment community uses. 10 turn 1.2 mile course. Lower speeds but its an hour from the cities... BIR (Closest real track) is over 3 hours and is (litterally) 5X more money per event. For a little day excursion the place rocks!

Do you know the owner of the GT 500 KR? KRs are very, very rare and if it is restored with matching numbers, it is easily worth more any of the other cars out there. About the only thing more rare than a that KR is a KR convertible. Nice pics!

I have talked to the owner several times. He also had the AC cobra (that was a kit car) that was out there. I don't know for sure but I think it was a clone - a very well done one at that. On top of those cars he has 4 or 5 other very rare and expensive cars that he brings to the track from time to time... Runs them all, but rather conservatively.

I like that 16v MB in the first pics, those sportline 190's are nice rides, way overbuilt for their time.

If you can get one with the engine still intact it's a sporty little ride.

68 KR500 Convertible in candy apple red is my dream car.

a fully restored, concours correct KR500 ragtop with matching numbers is worth about $75-100k

and I have a magazine article here at home with Carol Shelby's personal 68 KR500 conv (never titled) and they estimate its worth at $225k. and its not even concours correct because of the things he did to it (like remove the smog pump).
