75 honda 400 4
my buddies father has one in what looks to be pretty good shape, fore $500. I know this is a very limited bike, and It seems like a real good price. Only thing, is it has 4 carbs, and if there fowled, its gonna bitch to get new ones, since the bike was only made 2 years. Any advice on if I should jump on it or not.

Offer him $300 and see what he says. Perhaps it is a difference in locales, but I just saw a '79 CB750 for $500 in a local paper. If it's in really good shape, $500 ain't bad, but it is a bit of an oddball/small bike.

The Honda 400/4 is VERY collectible. Grab it!
