Infiniti FX45. It's the Nissan Murano's cousin. The Murano is the 2nd ugliest vehicle out there.

IMO the Pontiac Ass-tek is the ugliest. The Element is ugly, but it's ugly in a way that becomes extremely cool, much like the Citroen 2CV.

While the Aztek is buggly... I like the element. It has a cool japanese anime feel to it.
The Citroen is a classic... love this car on looks alone. The Saab... not my favourite but it has a certain coolness to it as well. The convertible of this model is really nice. |
The Isuzu that has been posted. It is one ug-ug-ug-ugly vehicle. Most of the cars that have been posted don't look ugly at all. (except for the Aztek)

As far at the Aztek goes, it looks better now than it did upon initial design. The interior is superb, and very functional. The Isuzu is ugly, too. I'd forgotten about that monstrosity. I still think the Infiniti FX45 takes the cake, though.

The Cit is so ugly that it's good lookin'. The Aztek is one of the ugliest I've ever seen. The element isn't quite as ugly, but it's pretty bad. I always thought saabs looked pretty cool. some BMW's from the mid 80's looked pretty nasty - serious overbite issues ;)

The aztec and others are easy to pick on but for everyday just ugly cars there is the Civic, Neon and Carola. They just have NO taste what-so-ever and I hate seeing them all day.
BTW, I think the older Saabs are cool looking, I love the look of boxy european cars. |

I like their retro styling. A little underpowered, but the newer ones have turbo. I would agree, though, that flames look pretty lame on it. |

the Nissan Sunny was ugly, but there was one I liked. Years ago I read about some guy in Europe who put a Skyline motor and modified AWD drivetrain (modded to fit) in there. The thing was INSANE. Wonder if it's still around. I couldn't find any reference to it on the net.
My ugly list is long. Dodge Omni, Gremlin, Pacer, Yugo, current Dodge vans, older Chevy and Ford vans, 1980's Lincolns, all caprice classics (they went from boxes to suppositories over night), the WRX (i love this car, but. . .damn.), Honda Element, the last generation of the Prelude (at least, compared to the 92-96 years it was ugly), the current civic, the new BMW 740 and now the 5 series as well (whoever designed the rear end, I want whatever drug he's on). The Citroen above is an awesome car. I'd drive that in a second. Sit in one some time - the seats are more comfortable than a plush livingroom couch, and the funky hydraulic suspension is just cool. Feels like you're floating on air. BTW, that bonneville is the first GM (other than Corvette) that I've seen in a LONG time that I've thought was really good looking. Is that what it's gonna look like now, or are they gonna put a bunch of crappy body cladding on it again and wreck the look? |
One car that I can't stand is the new BMW Z4. It just totally doesn't look right to me. The front end looks like the car is "droopy" and sad. The back just looks plain ugly.

For me, the Scion Xb just makes me shake my head. Mmm, let's make an ugly, squared-off, compact with a flat roof, a flat front-end, and a flat and perpendicular windshield so that it looks like some kind of half-assed French ambulance/hearse from 1939.
The Aztek, of course, is a no brainer. The Element is ugly, but it has good functionality for people who want to haul big loads, load and unload a lot, and get the car dirty. On my all-time ugly car list, though, nothing beats the 1960-61 Plymouth Valiant, slant six or no. |
