Great finish, but geez Glock was puttering around the track like a tourist. Track didn't look THAT wet, lol. Like Hobbs said: "Hamilton, you are one lucky boy!"

Ok, I completely love that gif. I laughed my ass off and actually replayed it twice when it happened.

I'll precede this with saying I am a Ferrari fan and therefor biased but it seems a little anti climactic to clinch your first World Championship and not even be on the podium. Now I know it is a championship based on reliability and who is the most consistent but I still won't believe Lewis is the "Next" the "Future" or the "Best" until he wins one in a more convincing fashion. Either way though congratulations to him.

I think your bias is showing through. The championship is based on your sum accomplishments through the entire season, not one race. He deserved it. Massa came very close and if he had clinched one additional podium earlier in the season he would have had it.

I was really rooting for Raikkonen or Kubica though :)

It's simple. You can't drive fast in a downpour on dry slicks.

Well done Lewis! It's funny, had Glock simply pitted to get intermediate tires on like everyone else did, there'd be no comments being made, as Hamilton would have been ahead of him going into the final lap.

And yeah, you can't run fast on slicks in even a little wet. Trulli was on slicks as well and posted a similar last lap time to Glock.
