I do both. Depends on the car and the situation.

Use both. Matters how fast I wanna stop and why I'm stopping, etc.

I use both. Gotta haul it in then brakes. Down a long hill/slope in no traffic then engine brake and coast.

I use both, sometimes alone, sometimes in combination. It all depends.

i do both... but i have manual gearbox, i wonder how usefull it is with automatic ones (never had a chance to drive a car with that, it's less then unpopular in europe)
