Skyline almost jumps off dyno (Video)
 

I was informed that this Skyline has roughly about 1300hp!!

I've seen something along those lines before...different car, but scary none the less. Wouldn't want to be that guy standing on the car for sure! Just imagine if they didn't have the safety straps. :eek:

Amazing to watch, but the outcome of that video could be so incredibly different if there weren't any safety straps.

First time I have ever seen a dyno not able to keep up with the car. The rollers just couldn't spin at 180mph I guess...

dangerous! if they ran it a second longer, the car might be through the wall (along with the guy standing on the car)

I work on class 8 trucks and run them on a dyno. We chain them down for just that reason, and damn sure don't stand on the side.

You haven't lived until you run a truck up to 2000+ rpm, thirteenth gear, pyrometer running over a thousand degrees, 28 lbs manifold pressure, 600+ horsepower and 2000 lb/ft torque. You can smell the rubber and the howl just cuts right through you!
