WRX body kits

does anyone make body pieces for the WRX (new or old)? i've never seen any and while i like it, every one i've ever seen has looked exactly the same. i'm not big on massive wings or body paneling, but i think it'd be nice to have a unique hood or something.

kits are made ... check out the import tuner magazines and you'll see ... I don't know any brands or names of kits at this time ... a gut I know put a full skirt kit on his '03 WRX

I am thinking about getting a WRX for my next car. I am retiring in a year and getting myself a new car for my own present. Right now I drive around a 1981 Corvette that is really sweet and fast but the darn thing costs a fortune to keep up. I live in MN so I can't run the vette for a good portion of the year but if I get a WRX I should still be able to drive fast plus use the same car year round. What are the pluses and pitfalls you have had with your WRX(s).

Thanks

Pick up a copy of Super Street and jump around to the sites they list. Most is Honda/Acura stuff, but other Japanese imports are in ther, too.

I know VeilSide has body kits for the wrx, but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for. Link

They all look the same for the WRX. It's because all the other cars copy the WRX for their bodykits. Would you rather have an Accord look like a WRX or the other way around?

Here's a selection: http://www.autosportz.com/bodykits_0...u_imprezza.htm
http://www.xcceleration.com/itemdetails.cfm81.htm

It's just my opinion, but it would only be worth it to save weight (carbonfiber), and for aerodynamics (keep in mind it you have to go 75mph plus for wings, spoilers, and diffusers to actually work).

honestly, i don't like fenders and side skirts and all that. if i did anything (if i got a WRX) i would just want to change the hood (maybe some grills).

i like this one except for the 2 heat extractors. i want something like that that pulls the hood scoop more towards the nose.

I just got an '04 wrx and love it. i'm not too big on body kits, but if you check around clubwrx.com there are discussions on who makes good body kits/hoods/etc.
