1973 Super Beetle, fresh off the lot for $2700. Drove the shit out of it for 12years, traded it for a major piece of shit used '81 Escort. When I traded her, there was no driver's seat covering left(a towel covered the springs), no gas gauge, no odometer, the brake light stayed on because the rear taillight tilted to the side from being hit, there was a 1/2 inch of ice on the passenger floor and could only get $5 worth of gas at a time lest I get overcome with gas fumes....GAWD!!! I loved that car....the only photo I could find of it, complete with hanging taillight!

Could be a crazy hippie chick car. Hey, in about 1973/74 did you pick up a hitchhiking guy once on PA Rt 611 southbound in Willow Grove and share a box of psychedelic brownies?

Nah....I wasn't a hippie chick into weird brownies...
Car didn't look like much, but it could get up and go-I was never one to shift the 10/20/30/40 style.

I had an '84 Subaru Wagon. (The pic is actually an '83). It was silver, ugly as hell, appeared to have a couple of bullet holes in the back, and my brother called it Commander Cadaver. I had some fun times in that car

My first car was a 1982 Chevy Cavalier - light blue, with a pinstripe, of course! I think I paid $800 for it. I remember how happy I was to have my own wheels!

the thing about thuis car is, it makes me want to drive very, very slow. cant fuck this thing up. If you've ever been to central florida, you know how crazy the drivers are.

When I was 10, I saw Smokey and the Bandit for the first time and I got hooked. When I turned 16, my Dad fronted me the cash to buy a car so it had to be a Trans Am. It was a black on black 78 with gold trim and had an Olds 403 under the hood. The only thing missing was the T-Tops. This isn't it, but it looks pretty close.

1993 Ford Ranger Supercab - I've had 4 cars since I got this one (Two Toyotas, a Ford and an Infiniti) and I still have this one. It's got 177,000 miles on the clock and it's still ticking. The picture is from last fall, still looks great!
I did buy new tires and wheels for it last weekend off of craigslist, so I'm in it for the (very) long haul.

Some seriously wicked cars in here.
Can't find a good online picture of my first car (yet), but with any luck I'll locate my old photo album in the next few days.
1963 Buick Wildcat, fully loaded and totally mint. My Grandfather bought it new and almost never dove it, he usually drove his truck.
4 door, Hardtop with optional FACTORY record player. Yes a record player, held 13 45 size records and I never could make that thing skip, god knows I tried hard enough.
White paint with white interior, leather seats, woodgrain dash. dam thing was a land yacht but I loved that car.

It got me through the last 2 years of high school until her death in 1995. She overheated at every red light. I had a brand new radiator put in, a bunch of other shit, etc. Then one day at a red light, she bled oil. Everywhere. Oh teh horror.

First car I bought when I was 16 was a 1970 Mustang. I paid $800 for it, and it was in mint condition at the time.

Maroon 1983 Honda Civic S hatchback w/Dodge Omni GLH 40-series 15" tires and rims, Momo steering wheel, Pioneer stereo system with equalizer in the glove box, and a Porsche emblem in the center of the steering wheel. Decent neighborhood rally car.
