Obviously had the roof cut off by the fire services, but that's a hell of an impact.

According to the source where I first saw this, the car was not cut by the emergency services. Also, the driver not only lived, but escaped serious injury. Crazy, no?

it is amazing that he lived, but i can see how, since somehow the whole drivers area is untouched?!? that's nuts.

p.s. when i saw the first picture i thought "what are the odds that 2 RS6s got in a wreck like that?" then i saw the next one and was like "oh sh!t" lol

I assume he was alone, because anyone else in that car would not have survived. Dayum...wonder how fast he was going?

"...and then the tree came from out of nowhere and struck my car."

Jeez, not the best tree placement around that bend, if you ask me. A huge, beautiful runoff field obstructed by very driver-hostile Armco. In the USA he could sue. :)

At first I thought it was two cars.... then I looked at the license plate numbers...

Someones guardian angel was working double overtime on that one.

I wonder what his first thought was when he/she was over the initial shock of what just happened and then looked over their shoulder to realize the whole freaking back half of my car is gone! That's one lucky guy/girl! I'd be thanking my lucky stars on that one.

The driver is the second from the left in the first photo, not a scratch on him. Talk about luck.

Needless to say I think the tree won. At least the driver is okay.

So, do you think they'll total the car or try to repair it?

Dilbert1234567 03-06-2007 10:00 PM

I suspect they'll just bang out some of the larger dents and touch up the paint. It'll be good as new by next week. ;)

WoundLicker 03-07-2007 12:48 PM

No wonder he crashed his steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car...:P

KellyC 03-07-2007 04:42 PM

Look at that bastard tree, it only has a white bandaid on it.

wrongfullyaccuzd 03-07-2007 07:48 PM

I didn't know Audi was making their cars with the front ends and back ends facing the same direction these days.
