You Gotta Be Kiddin Me!!!!!! Is this for real??? I could never get so lucky.....

Charlatan 02-17-2007 08:36 PM

I would think I had died and gone to heaven.

Probably paid for the purchase of the land with just a couple of those cars.

shakran 02-17-2007 09:53 PM

damn. I'd've been delighted just to find the 356.

This may seem really strange and bizarre, but that's just cause you've never been to Portugal. After 3 years living there, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

I know what you mean. Those Portugals leave cars everywhere.

ChrisJericho 02-18-2007 12:43 AM

Man, that's like Mr Miyagi's car collection times 10 !!

Brewmaniac 02-18-2007 07:31 AM

What a find! Better than gold! I wish it would happen to me.

Sue 02-18-2007 09:40 AM

Wonder if Jay Leno and other car enthusiasts will try to get in on it.

WoundLicker 02-18-2007 11:33 AM

Willravel 02-18-2007 04:08 PM

OH MY GOD!!! That's amazing!

JStrider 02-18-2007 10:58 PM

thats really cool... I wonder how long all those cars had been sealed away in there.

aKula 02-19-2007 03:04 AM

I remember another thread about a year ago with a similar find in the USA. Both are pretty awsome though I think there are many more cars in this one.

yeah, my thoughts exactly, although those open wheelers look pretty fun too!

BadNick 02-19-2007 10:07 AM

Awesome discovery. I'm gonna hunt around for info on how rare some of those are.

My cleaning lady would love that garage, she likes to find dust since she's sort of OC about cleaning it up.

absorbentishe 02-19-2007 03:58 PM

Well, I bought this property for hundred thousand, and come to find out, I'm a multimillionaire!! Incredible for the new owner.

LoganSnake 02-19-2007 04:24 PM

How much would you say a collection like that would go for?

Ashton 02-20-2007 01:14 AM

The whole story is bullshit,

The guy that own's the cars bought them in the 80's and early 90's

He had the wearhouse door's welded shut.

A month ago he agreed to let a collector look through them........

The collector sold a Austin Cooper S

I can't load the pic's here........

I have one of the cinderblock wearhouse and flatbed, and the Mini outside....... Plate number RR-25-67

That whole buy

BadNick 02-20-2007 07:10 AM

Well no matter who owns the cars, my cleaning lady is ready to start dusting them off. And no doubt there are some very collectible cars in there.

Tech 02-20-2007 09:35 AM

got an article or something about that ashton?

i WAS going to say to myself, though, that the yellow Lotus can't be THAT old.

tfpfreak 02-20-2007 10:48 AM

So that is what heaven looks like huh?

wrongfullyaccuzd 03-07-2007 07:51 PM

That's pretty cool, but also a little creepy...I could see a horror movie beginning that way.
