International CXT

In the spirit of the I hate hummers thread, I thought I would throw in a thread about an even bigger truck that I would love to have! The International CXT !
Its a big 4wd diesel truck and I love it! Interestingly enough, I see more of these driving around here then H1's probably not surprising as they have a much better turning radius and an ungodly huge payload and towing capacity.

The CXT2 is kinda cool with the dump truck style bed.(unless the first one had that also)

I saw that CXT monster highlighted in one of those auto related TV shows. Man, I love it, that is a serious pickup TRUCK+! But it's out of my budget range ...probably both for purchase price and operating cost... but if I could afford one, I'd love to have it.

Sort of reminds me of another big one I really like, GM's F650. I've seen a few of those around and really like those too.

Sorry, i need to retract my comments about the Hummer being the stupidest ever. They place second to this dumb monstrosity.

What a totally useless vehicle. The cargo capacity is umpteen tons but the sheetmetal pickup box ain't gonna hold that, it's too friggin tall to load anything in or to use a 5th wheel.

But i bet it drives like a sports car and goes forever on ten bucks...

The original CXT also had the tilting bed, to aid in loading/unloading. When the bed is five feet off the ground, I imagine something like that helps.

Nominally, these things are for landscapers or folks of that nature who need the capacity for big payloads but for whom something like a cube van would be inappropriate. I have yet to see one 'round these parts, but you have to admire the pure testosterone of it.
