Looking for help
Ok, so I'm rebuiling my '98 Isuzu Hombre's motor, and I wanted to know if anyone knew where I could go look for torque specs, or any other miscellaneous info I might need. Let's rule out anything not online or anything I have to pay for, too much money going towards the rebuild already to buy info.

I just looked thru my links to free online shop manuals, but that was not one that is available, at least from what I have found. Maybe if you find a car forum dealing specifically with Isuzu's they would have it. Or you might find something if you know if the motor in that thing is actually an Isuzu motor or perhaps it's made by GM or that kind of thing?

I'm pretty sure a Hombre is the same as a Chevy S10. Is it a 2.2 4 cylinder or a 4.3 v6? I can probably look up the specs on Alldata while I'm at work.

thanks crazybill5280,
that's Ed Zachary what I meant. Btw, are you possibly related to crazybill5281? He has teeth, though. |
yeah, it's a GM 2.2L, 4 cyl. OHV
just got my head back from the local cylinder head shop and i'm impressed with the job they did. what i need is torque specs for head bolts, connecting rods, oil pan bolts(if any), intake/exhaust manifold bolts(again if given) also i need head bolt torque patterns |
Head bolts
Long 63 Nm (46 ft. lbs.) + 90° Short 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.) + 90° I'll post the picture of the head bolt torque pattern tonight once I can get it hosted since I can't post attachments.
