Anyone entering NaNoWriMo? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

If you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, heres the bit from their website:

I'm thinking about entereing, however I have exams yill nov 8th and then I'll be on holiday in Aus for 8 days (maybe I should write a novel instead of reading one this time?).

Anyone else thought of entering?

I'm entering it. Just found out about it a few days ago.

Fortunately I just finished midterms in mid-October and I don't have finals until early December. I'll have to turn in a paper or two and keep up with daily work, but I don't have any really earth-shaking school commitments for the next few weeks.

I bought the founder's "No Plot, No Problem" book and now I'm quite excited about the project, as he says everyone is right around the time it starts. Haven't read his stuff about what to do when you slog to a halt after several days of constant writing, though.

I will be entering.

But I have to take 3 days off for a convention (I have no laptop) so I will be writing about 7-8 pages a day, I think.
