Everyone has regrets; we all regret some stupid choice we made, or didn't make. Maybe it was even today or yesterday. No matter when it was, we still have to live with it. Of course we don't want to accept it or announce it, but it doesn't matter because we can't take it back. You might have hurt someone, been hurt, wasted a day, or made a bad decision. Either way there is nothing you can do about it. All you can do is make the best of it; forgive, forget, try to fix it, or just say... FUCK IT ALL!!!

I have no regrets. When I start feeling like I do , I remember, The person I am right now is because of the chioces I have made. And I like me the way I am.....

Molly, a girl I knew in High school.

She had been going through a rough month and during that month, she lost her dirver's license and her boyfriend broke up with her. So shortly afterwards, she turned to me as we had been friends for several months at the time, and while she was talking to me, she started coming onto me. So I stopped her there and said that she had a lot of emotions running through her and I didn't want her to do something she'd regret later. So I told her that if she had the same feelings for me the next day, I would be willing to have a relationship with her.

Well, she got back with her boyfriend. Then 4 months later, he dumped her and she dropped out of high school.

So I still wonder if I could have made things better for her if I did have a relationship with her.

That is my one true regret, but I don't let it eat at me anymore. Instead I use it to see where I can make a difference in other people's lives. Wherever I am, that is where I am and I have the chance to make a difference in the lives of people around me. We cannot change the past, but we can effect the future.

The way I see it is that once you make a wrong choice and regret doing it, you seem to be more carefull with how you deal with people and experiences that happen in everyday life. By learning from past memories you can shield yourself from the blinding effects of regret in the future. . .
as I like to say when you fall you just have to pick up all your feathers and glue them back on with the crazy glue so you can fly again and as you get better at glueing them on the less likely you will have to in the future. . .

regrets never leave you, they only fade with time and learning, they get you nowhere

and yet everyone has them, as do I
there are many things I regret in my life
and there are many regrets I have come to see
as what was meant to be that I don't truely regret anymore
is that what is supposed to happen?
