The Storm
 

Gliding through the air
The wind blowing in my face
Using the sun as my guide
My destination just over the hills
It starts to come into view
As a storm forms above
The wind and rain blow me about
But still I persist on my journey with all my might
My destination is so close
I can't give up now
The wind and rain get stronger
And the clouds block out the sun
I lose my guide
But with the destination now within my sights
I can make it there now
Lightning strikes through my heart
And I go tumbling to the ground
Barely breathing on the earth
I have lost sight of my destination
The mountains and trees all around
Blocking everything
The storm rages on
And I am lost forever
So close to what I needed
But now impossible to reach

Is there any special meaning behind this? Or was it written just to be written?

Either way, it is very good

There is meaning behind it... just not sure how to explain it exactly.
