Where have the winds of change taken me?

About 215 miles northeast of NYC in the
wonderful city of Boston.

In late June, they'll take me back
to the promised land of California.
This time, hopefully, for life.

I survived medical school.
Survived most of my internship.
I'm sure I'll survive the rest.

I, too, have revisited Santa Barbara...
...and I've seen once again the
bamboo garden at Huntington. I've recently
stood underneath the Encounter, and
had a chance to see Montreal once again.
I have stepped foot in Vermont for a
second time, reentered the Barnes and Noble
there. For sure, I have passed by the
outside of the Rent theater on 38th St.
Sometimes, I play 'One Headlight',
sometimes I play the Tears for Fears
that you left behind. And I have definitely
reread some of Einstein's Dreams.

What have I not done? I have not yet
celebrated the new millenium. Perhaps
I am thinking that It hasn't actually
come yet. 2005 marks the date.
