We should have saved past ones but I'll try and keep them for posterity here, should we do more. The 'game' is/was, someone opens, someone else follows up the subject matter, one line at a time.
Place my love in a glass of gin
Clear are the hearts of ice within
And though I would love to fill it with gin
Flowers lose petals again
Take what drink of passion stirs
The sight of love my vision blurs
And loss of you in life occurs
Another bottle....my remembrance stirs
But forever in love our souls confer

Another:

Bleed unto me your sorrow
For there shall be no tomorrow
As my heart absorbs these tears
And accepts all my soul fears
For no emotion shall I borrow

Final one (taking a suggestion, I'm switching one line);
The king's thumb tuned down with a callous stare
Life falls to its knees in worldly despair
Mortal wounds bleed with no pain
As sands of time absorb the stain
