Broke bread with all my brothers
Who paid for freedom's ring

Lives throughout the ages
The sum of human kind
Fill tomes of many pages
But seldom you will find

Men who fought for freedom
On someone else's shore
End a tyrant's season
Without a taste for war

In oath we lose our brothers
And many more will die
For our love of country
Is freedom's battle cry
