Lowest Credit Card Rate in Canada
What card do you use, and what is the interest rate?
I find overall that there are so many great American deals, but nothing much for Canadians. http://forcards.com/ has some incredible deals, but nothing as low for Canada. little help? |
I have an RBC Visa, and it is not great. I think it's something like 18%, which sucks like a cheap whore. I would love to get rid of it. I've heard you can go into your bank and demand a lower interest rate on your credit cards, or say you'll leave them. ANd then, supposedly, they'll lower the interest rate. Confirm or deny.

Another thing to note, Merlocke, is that all those rates are for 'introductory periods' or bank transfers. It would be interesting to see what they jacked the rate up to after the first few months.
I have a Visa through a large bank, and they don't change any interest as long as I pay my balance every month (Except cash advance, which have large daily interest rates). Keep your Credit Cards clear of large numbers, and you never need to worry about the rate. |
Actually - the Capital one card has a rate of 5.99. That's lower than what i'm currently paying on lines of credit. If they have a referral program I'm be happy to join anyone (if that's even possible)
